    • @Skate 10 Skate 10 I don't get any of that. It was words stuck together. Something about an X90 (not x90) being made by Mitsubishi? You might have just replied with the square root of 1,019,726 is the game show Wheel Of Fortune. Why are you replying to me with that? And what does that mean? My advanced degrees in education can't even decipher what you meant or cared. I need you to entertain me by defining what you meant. It will be so fulfilling.

  • Fuel system cleaners that come in a metal can will eat your plastic fuel pump and gas tank. Sea Foam down the throttle body is not bad, but not in the gas tank. They used to say use 3/4 can down the carburetor, and the rest in the fuel tank, but they don't say that any more. Scotty you should do a show about why power steering fluid is still sold everywhere, even though since 1979 all vehicles use automatic transmission fluid in the PS system.

It's also good for a get you home where cars are concerned but just be prepared to get moaned at by your tyre shop though when it comes to fixing or replacing your rubber!

  • The trick to Slime is to use it only on bikes and only when you use your old tube as a tire liner. If you do that it works. Pretty well actually. You just gotta cut the valve stem off the old tube obviously. I've tested many different things to stop tube punctures in the AZ desert. This way is the only way that works.

  • Hy Scotty! While you have a good point on all other products, I must say that your concerns regarding the Green Slime product are unfounded. Green Slime does not harden with time and acts as a liquid tire balance fluid. As a matter of fact, tire balancing fluid (that is, fluid that is inserted into the tire) is used on large oversize tires (such as heavy off-road tires, truck tires and agricultural machines tires) for a long time with good results. Some people even use antifreeze as tire balance fluid. If anyone is curious, google "liquid tire balancer" or "antifreeze tire balancer". Best wishes, Laurentiu.

The dealer said DON"T use that as it has oils in it the just bakes your leather, rubber and vinyl in the sun. We used P&S Product Shape on it and our still do use it on leather and vinyl.

I looked in the back of my truck and found a can of PB Blaster and blasted the swarm until there were almost all gone. I felt like a genius until I took one step on the wet/PB Blaster covered boat ramp. The ramp was slick as ice and I couldn't stand up on it. I had to crawl my way to the dirt on the side of the ramp and throw sand and gravel on the ramp so I could walk and drive away on it.

I was thinking on using gasoline resistant epoxy for gluing it back on, but I don't know if it's safe, as supposedly if it isn't glued back properly then petrol gas can leak out, at least one of the guys at my local parts store said that it may be a possibility.
