I want something that combines, luxury, performance and practicality... yea, I know that’s a little difficult to combine, lol.

  • What i liked about the older Toyota Matrix is that the front passenger seat folded down flat. I could sleep in it when camping and I could carry 8 foot pieces of lumber in it. It was a mistake for Toyota to discontinue that feature. It was a big selling point for me. Dont know if I will stick with Toyota if the feature is not there.

I replaced the oxygen sensor and got the engine light off, but a VSC and ABS light came on. Cruise control doesn't work either, and it worked before I replaced the engine. Tried using an engine scanner and nothing comes up. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

  • 😅 I drive a Toyota Tundra and have bought only Google Pixels since the first one was released. I still have a Nexus 6 that I use as an MP3 player and have never payed more than $600 in the past for a new Pixel. I can't understand why people keep paying $1k or more for a phone every year when mid range phones are so much better than they used to be. These people must hate their money 🙄 I'm on my current Pixel 4a and other than having no wireless charging, I couldn't be happier. It does 95% of what I need it to do and hustles along without delay for $399. Good deal 👍

Next time it happened, I set my cell phone to record in video mode, and passed it slowly along the top and sides of the dash. Dealership watched video, and instantly knew that infotainment system needed to be replaced under warranty. Problem solved.

  • That's so true about the warranty being no better than the paper that it's printed on. I bought a slightly used F150 Lightning (1993) a long time ago. It turned out to have a shot torque convertor; not apparent on a short test drive. I took it back to S&C Ford in San Francisco and complained, and their response was "Does it run?" What a rip! They went out of business a long time go and good riddance. I finally traded the Lightning in 18 years later for a Lincoln Towncar. I LOVED that truck! It went to an auto restorer in LA, and had 288,000 miles. It was reliable once I had the torque converter replaced, but eventually the convertor started going out again, so now it belongs to someone with the time and money to care for it. That truck passed everything but the gas station.
